What changed in Smart Breeze
Version 0.3.13 build 24 is the current public arm64 beta. The visible product name is Smart Breeze. Fan control remains enabled only on Mac16,7. Physical verification of the missing-FNum monitoring path on the tested M5 MacBook Air remains pending.

- Holds last-good thermal keys for 30 seconds so a missed AppleSMC read does not drop Any Sensor or Highest CPU to a cooler remaining key.
- Holds CPU, GPU, Memory, Battery, and hottest category maxima for 120 seconds so the dashboard does not flash unavailable.
- Keeps last-good values on Thermal Sensors tiles for the open session and labels a missed poll as last good.
- Does not change helper bytes or registration identity. A healthy release:6 helper from Build 23 stays registered.
- Keeps Build 22's missing-FNum monitoring path and fail-closed fan topology. Physical verification on the tested M5 MacBook Air remains pending.

- Renames the visible app, installer, and download artifact to Smart Breeze while keeping the Breeze executable, bundle identifier, helper label, and storage namespaces.
- Installs at /Applications/Smart Breeze.app and refuses new fan control or routine helper replacement while /Applications/Breeze.app still exists.
- Advances the embedded helper registration identity from release:5 to release:6 after a verified System handoff.
- Refines Thermal Sensors grouping, labels, and ordering without adding SMC reads or enabling new control paths.
- Keeps Build 22’s missing-FNum monitoring path and fail-closed fan topology. Physical verification on the tested M5 MacBook Air remains pending.

- Continues read-only temperature discovery when a Mac does not expose the FNum fan-count key instead of ending the entire hardware snapshot.
- Records fan topology as unknown and keeps physical fan control ineligible whenever complete fan topology cannot be verified.
- Adds a collapsed Thermal Sensors explorer with validated CPU, GPU, memory, battery, and other readings, sorted hottest first and capped at 128 entries.
- Builds aggregate temperatures, the hottest reading, and diagnostic sensor details from the same validated sensor set.
- Adds sensor counts and the twelve hottest individual readings to copied diagnostics for model-specific compatibility testing.
- Adds a branded drag-to-Applications disk image layout with native Finder icons and deterministic release checks.
- Passes 44 focused Swift tests and the Breeze self-test before release packaging.

- Moves recurring helper-registration checks off SwiftUI’s render path and caches them on a serialized background queue.
- Rejects out-of-order helper snapshots so older service state cannot overwrite a newer result.
- Defers profile and sensor picker mutations until SwiftUI has finished reconciling the current view update.
- Stops fully collapsed Advanced and Curve disclosures from measuring or placing hidden native controls.
- Reuses filtered cooling-history samples within each chart draw instead of recalculating them for every lane.
- Uses helper revision 4. Build 18 upgrades replace the helper only after a verified System handoff; a healthy Build 20 helper remains registered.
- Passes 31 focused authorization, ownership, retry, and lifecycle tests plus the signed release self-test.
- Includes Developer ID signing, app and DMG notarization, staples, Hardened Runtime, Gatekeeper validation, private dSYMs, and public binary path-hygiene checks.
- Known issue confirmed August 11, 2026: on one tested fanless M5 MacBook Air, Build 21 installs successfully but shows no temperature readings after the missing FNum key ends the hardware snapshot early.
